Nara Rohit's latest Telugu movie Prathinidhi has received decent response and done good collection at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. The debutant Prashanth Mandava-directed political thriller has beaten ace filmmaker Subhash Ghai's new Bollywood release Kaanchi: The Unbreakable and landed in the fourth spot, while last week's release 2 States topped the business chart in the country.
 Prathinidhi, which was the only new release in America this Friday, graced a limited number of screens across the country on April 25 and garnered good response. The movie showed decent growth on Saturday and Sunday. The Nara Rohith and Shubra Aiyappa starrer has collected Rs 9.08 lakhs ($ 15,010) from 9 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend.


The amount that Prathinidhi has raked in at the USA Box Office in three days is very low, but considering its volume of release in the country, trade experts in Tollywood describes its first weekend performances as 'decent'. Whereas, Kaanchi: The Unbreakable is one of the most hyped Bollywood movies of 2014 and it was released in 28 screens in the country. Subhash Ghai's latest directorial venture starring Mishti and Kartik Tiwari in the leads, has collected Rs 8.89 lakhs ($14,694) from 28 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend.


"The script demanded the film to be very commercial. I could say it's the most commercial film of my career. The film features some amazing action blocks, punch dialogues and even an item number. It's something very contrary to what I've done so far," Rohit revealed. Rohit, who is the nephew of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, noted that it was his uncle who suggested him to do more commercial films.


According to an insider, many producers and filmmakers are contacting the team, to acquire the remake rights for attractive prices. There are many filmmakers in Bollywood like Prabhu Deva, Rohit Shetty and Boney Kapoor who have always preferred to pick up films which are commercial. Thus, there are speculations that Rowdy Fellow, will be soon remade in Hindi.

Baanam and Solo fame Nara Rohit has garnered good appreciation for his stylish and rough cop role played in the movie. The story revolves around him and he is the highlight of the movie. It has completed two successful weeks at the box office collecting 14.42 crores. Rowdy Fellow is one film that is making news being a moderate hit at the box office in 2014. The movie is doing well across the country. Vishakha Singh plays a female lead actress in the action-love entertainter and she is best at her performance. Rowdy Fellow is the directorial debut of lyricist Krishna Chaitanya under the banner of Moviemills. The film is one among few recent films which has focused on both elements in equal proportions.


We have to say that "Oye" girl, the famous child artist who happened to highest tax payer at a lower age, Shamlee is back. In a way she has done quite injustice to her first hero, Siddharth, with whom she paired in flop flick Oye. Many say, the credits go to Nara Rohit for bringing this Oye girl back. Most other heroes have doubts on her, because she might dominate them with acting. But Rohit is one fearless guy who doesn't worry much about such stuff. - See more at:
